Bucket is operated by Better Day Labs, LLC ("Bucket," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit bucketfit.com, join our waitlist, or contact us.
Bucket is currently in waitlist mode. The app is not yet available, and joining the waitlist does not create an app account or provide app access. Our website and waitlist are intended for adults age 18 or older in the United States.
Information we collect
Waitlist information. We collect the email address you submit through our waitlist form, along with submission details such as the date and time you signed up.
Communications. If you contact us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any other information you choose to provide. Please do not send medical records, payment details, passwords, or other sensitive information.
Website and form activity. Our hosting and form providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website and form. This may include your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, and diagnostic information. Our hosting provider may also make traffic summaries available to us.
We do not collect app account information, workout logs, or payment information through the current waitlist.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Maintain the waitlist and send requested Bucket launch updates and invitations.
- Respond to questions and requests.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and protect the website and signup form, including preventing spam and abuse.
- Understand website traffic and interest in the launch.
- Meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising across other companies' websites or apps.
Who receives information
We use these providers for the current website and waitlist:
- Tally: hosts our signup form and stores form submissions on our behalf. When the embedded form loads, your browser connects directly to Tally, even if you do not submit it. See Tally's Privacy Notice.
- Hostinger: hosts our website and processes website requests, hosting logs, and related technical information. See Hostinger's Privacy Policy.
We also use email tools to receive and respond to messages and deliver waitlist communications. These providers process the email addresses and message information needed for that work. Access within our business is limited to people who need the information for the purposes described here.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, protect people's safety, prevent fraud or abuse, or protect our legal rights. If our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate protections.
Cookies and tracking
Bucket does not currently place advertising cookies or use advertising pixels on the waitlist website. We do not track your activity across unrelated websites for advertising.
The embedded Tally form is provided by a third party and is subject to its own technical and privacy practices. Browser settings can restrict cookies and other site storage, although restricting third-party content may prevent the form from working. You can contact us by email if you cannot use the form.
Our website does not change its behavior in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals. We do not sell information or share it for advertising.
How long we keep information
We retain waitlist information while it is reasonably needed to manage the waitlist and communicate about the launch. We remove it when you request deletion or when it is no longer needed for those purposes, subject to limited legal, security, and recordkeeping needs.
We retain correspondence and technical records only as reasonably needed for their purposes. We may keep a limited record of an unsubscribe request to avoid contacting you again. Deleted information may remain in backups until those backups are replaced or expire under the applicable backup schedule.
Your choices and requests
You may leave the waitlist or stop launch emails at any time by using the opt-out method in an email or contacting hello@bucketfit.com. We honor requests to stop marketing emails within 10 business days.
You may also email us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify an access, correction, or deletion request. We may retain limited information where necessary for legal obligations, security, or honoring your opt-out. We will explain any relevant limitation when responding. Applicable law may provide additional rights.
Where information is processed and how it is protected
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Tally states that its form data is stored in Europe. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those where you live.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure.
Age restrictions
Our website and waitlist are intended for people age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided information, contact us so we can take appropriate steps to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We will post updates here and revise the effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice as appropriate, such as a website notice or email. We will update this policy before introducing app access or materially different data practices and obtain consent where required by law.
